How do I add photos to a photo gallery?

1. Use 'Filelist' in the left column first, and upload the images you want to add to the gallery. You might want to make a separate folder for the gallery images, or use one of the folders already present. Remember where you uploaded the images - you'll need to recall this later.

2. Now use 'List' in the left column, and click the filename of the folder used for your photo gallery - it will normally be called 'Photo Gallery Folder' (or something similar)

3. You'll see a list of pictures already in the gallery. Click the green + at the top of the list as shown.

4. In the screen that appears give your photo a title, and then scroll down a bit...

5. Click on the small Folder icon (circled) and a window will pop-up. In that windown choose the photo you uploaded in step 1 above. DO NOT use the 'Browse' button here - if you upload that way it's impossible to use the photos for other purposes in Typo3 in the future, and you waste disk space.

6. When you've done that then click 'Save'. The save icon with the green plus on it saves the photo you've added, and immediately takes you to the screen to add another one. Repeat steps 1-6 until you have all your photos in the Typo3 system.

7. Click 'List' in the left column and 'Photo Gallery Folder' in the middle column, and in the right column look below the list of the photos you've added. You'll see something like this:

8. Click the pencil beside the gallery (there should be only one gallery), and in the screen that appears scroll right down to the bottom.

9. You'll see a list of pictures in your gallery. Click the folder icon (labelled 1 above) and add the individual photos from 'Photo Gallery Folder' - you can add more than one at once by clicking the black + signs to the left of each one. When all the photos are added you can change the order of them using the small arrows labelled '2' above. The order the pictures are listed here is the order they appear on the public website.

10. Click 'Save' and you're done
