Adding images to Flash rotations in Typo3

  • First of all you need to edit your images *before* they are uploaded to Typo3 for this to work. This is different to other aspects of adding images in Typo3. You can resize images using an image editing package on your PC such as Photoshop, or download and install the excellent open source GIMP. If you cannot install anything on your PC then try the web based Picnik instead.

  • The size the images need to be varies from site to site - Jon or Jan will be able to tell you the exact size of the images for your installation in pixels.

  • Once you have your image ready to upload, here's how to do it:

  • As a final step you will need to clear the caches in Typo3 (under the Lightning Icon, top right of the screen) to make sure everything will display correctly
