Liz Kendall

Liz is the Labour Candidate for Leicester West at the 2010 General Election and her site, launched in February 2010, is the most advanced site yet developed by techPolitics for a political candidate. Liz's work is mapped using a Google Maps function, there is an online donations function, online surveys, integration of Twitter, and an animated photo gallery. The site runs with Wordpress, showing the flexibility of this excellent blogging tool and CMS.

Speak Up Europe

Speak up Europe was a Plan D project coordinated by the European Movement International. It brought together the broadest citizens involvement in all EU member state. Through a set of national web portals and numerous face-to-face meetings Speak Up Europe aimed to offer a permanent space for debate to a large number of European citizens. The campaign has been launched on the 23rd of November 2006 and run all the way until the end of 2007. One of the main components of the campaign are the web portals "What has Europe ever done for us?"
